Are you longing for a day to slow down, relax, and do something that brings you joy and replenishes your spirit?
Join us on Sunday, December 4th for this special one-day workshop event in Steilacoom, Washington.
You will make:
* A beautiful holiday wreath made with real winter foliage and dried flowers/berries
* A mixed media floral painting
All materials, lunch, snacks, and coffee and tea are provided, as well as special gifts and surprises.
Space is limited to only 10 participants. Sign up early!
SCHEDULE:
9:30am Opening Circle/Tea and Coffee
10-noon Make Wreaths
12-1pm Lunch and optional beach walk
1-3pm Paint Flowers
3-3:30pm Closing Circle
WREATH-MAKING DETAILS:
The perfect way to start the countdown to Christmas, we will create a
gorgeous, festive wreath using a variety of winter foliage, berries and
other natural elements.
At this class you will learn all the skills needed to create a unique
wreath to decorate your home and welcome holiday season in style! Also, the
class is beginner-friendly, so no experience necessary :)
*In 2 hours, you will learn*:
* What materials to use to create a wreath
* How to decorate wreath with other plants and flowers
* The easiest way to make a perfect Christmas wreath
*All necessary tools & ingredients are provided by us, and are a follows:
-16” Metal Wreath Base - wreath will be 20-21” wide when ready
-Wire
-Scissors
-Gloves
-Various winter foliage
-Assortment of dried flowers/berries and other natural decor
You only need to bring your holiday inspired mood, and we will celebrate
this season together!
MIXED MEDIA PAINTING DETAILS:
Guided by Carrie's instruction, you will create a mixed media painting of flowers in a vase.
This is a welcoming and joyful process suitable for all levels. No prior painting experience required.
All supplies are provided.
